The Hayshed is a skilful reconstruction (retaining the original stone walls) of a former agricultural store into a comfortable modern cottage.  The former hay-loading aperture in the gable end has been converted into three windows, for the twin bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.

Accommodation

The front door opens south onto the old farm courtyard, now a landscaped garden, with a wooden seat. The main entrance to the Cottage, however, is up a set of steps from the parking area to a raised patio, enclosed within a wrought-iron balustrade, and thro' patio doors to the ground-floor living area.

The ground floor is, with the exception of the bathroom, an open-plan lounge and dining-room separated from the kitchen by an open-tread spiral staircase. The dining area has a glass-topped circular table with four chairs; the lounge has a birchwood two-seater sofa and matching armchair and coffee-table, a "relaxer" chair, a bench cupboard containing assorted jigsaws and board games, well-stocked bookshelves, a colour TV with video-player and a range of popular videos.  All free-to-view satellite TV and radio channels are available.
The bathroom has a full-size bath with fitted 'instant' shower, WC and washhandbasin, extractor fan, heated towel-rail, wall-mounted fan heater, mirror and shaver light.
The fitted kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, cooker hood, built-under fridge with ice-box, washer/tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and extractor fan.  There is also a full range of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and implements.  Please note that we supply the 'Ecover' range of detergents and dishwasher tablets for the use of guests.

The two bedrooms, one double, one twin, attractively furnished in pine, lie off the upper central landing, approached by the spiral staircase.
