The Tait family has been managing and maintaining our holiday cottages for over 25 years, creating a relaxing retreat for guests from all over the world.
Jim and Katie now oversee the day-to-day running of the cottages, living in what was once the stable and byre, while Jim’s mum resides in the original farmhouse next door. As part of the Arran Far Horizons collection, we’re passionate about offering a unique and personal holiday experience, and we’re proud to see many of our guests returning year after year to enjoy the peace and beauty of the area.
Our Cottages
The Ploughman’s Bothy features stunning picture windows that look out over the sea and across the Corriecravie Valley, offering guests a front-row seat to some of the best views on the island. The cottage is also equipped with wood-burning stoves and underfloor heating, ensuring a warm and cozy stay no matter the time of year.
